Yuki & Tomoko Mack
Japanese born duo-pianists Yuki and Tomoko have dazzled audiences
on three continents, performing works for one-piano, two-pianos
and double concerti with orchestra.
Arriving in the United States as children, they eventually settled
in Michigan where they attended Oakland University and University
of Michigan. In 1994, after winning strong recognition as soloists,
Yuki and Tomoko melded their individual artistry into a prize-winning
duo. They went on to win prizes in several prestigious international
competitions such as: First Prize and Kodama Prize at the Fourth
International Piano Duo Competition in Tokyo; the Ellis Two-Piano
Competition and the Dranoff International Two-Piano Competition.
They were featured artists in the Gilmore International Keyboard
Festival in Michigan the Symposium for Two-Pianos in Florida and
the Quebec International Two-Piano Festival.
In Chicago, Yuki and Tomoko have performed on the Dame Myra Hess
Series and on Live From Studio One, (where they return for the
third time on April 2, 2007), both broadcast on WFMT. In Europe
they gave recitals in Poland, Sweden and Italy followed by performances
in Japan and New York.

In the coming season Yuki and Tomoko
will be giving concerts and conducting outreach programs as they
tour nationwide.
The have produced three CDs, which include a varied repertoire
of one-piano and two-piano works: Rhapsody, American Mosaic
and Fantasy. These CDs can be sampled and/or purchased on

Their next CD is in the works and will be a compilation of dances.
